User Group
On Monday, July 23, 2007, Foray Technologies held its first user group meeting. The meeting was an “invitation only” event at the San Diego Zoo, and was attended by more than a hundred law enforcement agencies using Foray Technologies’ products and services.
In addition to providing a forum for user input and discussion, the meeting provided an opportunity to showcase “What’s New in 2.0” – Foray Technologies’ Digital Workplace, Digital Viewer, and Advanced User Rights Management. Attendees got to see first-hand the new features and functions in Version 2.0 as well as see the new ADAMS security architecture.
Also unveiled at the meeting was Foray’s new web site: http://support.foray.com. This new website allows registered users with Level 1, 2 or 3 support to:
- Open new technical support tickets
- Track existing technical support tickets
- Access knowledge base articles
Future users’ group meetings will be three-day training programs that will include presentation of and training on the latest ADAMS software. The training will also focus on the latest digital imaging technologies, new product updates, best practices, tips and techniques. Other topics that will be covered are current grant information, SOP preparation (and compliance with SWGIT and ASCLD requirements) as well as what lies ahead in the next release and what new products and services are available.
Attendance at user group meetings can be included as part of your Foray Technologies’ Level 3 Support Agreements. Agencies without a Level 3 Support Agreement, or that have an existing agreement may attend the user group meeting for a separate fee.
